| Nightingale expands services to U.S. care provider
MARKHAM, Ont. Nightingale Informatix Corp., a Canadian and U.S.-based developer of Electronic Medical Record (EMR) and Practice Management solutions, announced a $1.6 million contract to provide its enterprise EMR application to the Center for Disability Services (CFDS), based in Albany, New York. CFDS is an existing customer, utilizing Nightingales Entity Practice Management solution, and will acquire Nightingales EMR solution in order to better track clinical information on patients and improve operational efficiency. Under the terms of the agreement, Nightingale will license its CCHIT-certified EMR solution to CFDS in return for approximately $1.6 million in license, implementation and training fees over the term of the agreement. Implementation will begin in January 2007 and is expected to be rolled out to 220 healthcare practitioners in phases throughout 2007 and into 2008.

Neil Aiming For Fan-tastic Bond
After a management career that has taken him to Panama and Switzerland, the 39-year-old has been appointed to review the club's operational and commercial activities, including all customer-facing aspects. "One of my first observations was that the club needs to get back alongside our supporters and bring MFC and the fans closer together again," says Neil, who has previously worked with chemical companies such as ICI and more recently Syngenta. "We are reviewing each aspect of our business and are looking closely at the relationship we have with our supporters.
